I really like this music video because of the use of many different camera shots and angles. The use of different stars is effective as it gives the consumer a reason to watch as they usually like to identify. The appearance of Taylor Swift in almost every scene helps to represent her as explained in Andrew Goodwin's theory. This music video is also illustrative as what we see links to the lyrics of the song. The music video shows elements of intertextuality we are presented with females from other media text in a action themed setting. It shows the switch in gender roles as the females have all the power. The first scene we are presented with is a scene you would see in being presented by males, however, this song is showing that women can also be strong.
